Guwahatians must have traveled through the city bus plying through the length and breadth of the city. Have you ever stood on the back door and had experienced that aristocracy. If not, please do it soon. My high school days have always passed standing beside the back door and leaping in and out at every stop. The experience of enjoying the cool breeze on your face on the summer evening's of the city is another beauty. Standing on the door step is not a reason of the bus overcrowding; it is even seen on an empty bus. I once remember one incident when I had to reach Panbazar early morning. I got up at Maligaon at 6:15 AM and there were only three passenger's. The driver was full excited on the empty road and every bus stop looked empty. He stopped at Bharalumukh for a minute or two and again he accelerated. I still remember the sight. The early morning view of river Brahmaputra near fancy bazar and the fog that was a blanket above the mighty river created an epic of natural beauty. The aristocracy of enjoying such a climate with the blanket of nature gives a different definition to life.
