Stayfree day & night..

Those few nights won't be the same,
crying and curtailing down to pain,
discorded and frustrated alone in the house,
and isolated to stray away in misery,
Will someday these downpours of Orthodox surcease,
and our mother's be granted peace..

Menstruation marks the birth of womanhood in a girl and is called for some abrupt social and physical changes. The characteristics being devastating and  full of pain. The ancient Orthodox Indian culture made these few days of pain even more tiresome by isolating the lady to a corner in the house and with some superstitious belief that she turns to a untouchable withing this period. Today our society may laugh at such rubbish thought's but perhaps this was the phase our grand-mother's had to pass through.

On a hand we are expecting the feminine society to stand at the same zenith with the masculine society in every sphere and on the other there is still an orthodox society that belief's in such thoughts.

Stayfree now builds this platform to let every woman stand on the same height as that of man. Stayfree let's every girl compete with the rest of the world. And why not? We belong to a land of brave women like Rani Laxmi Bai, Sarojini Naidu and Durga Bhabi. Don't we see that same Sarojini Naidu inside ever girl born in this era? Yes we do.

Even during those day's of discomfort there's Stayfree that allows her to sleep in peace and wake up to stand brave in the rat race. Why should a girl postpone her success because of her menstrual cycle?

Today she know,
that she won't be alone,
sad and stabbed to solitary,
and no mood offs or any tear,
when today she has a Stayfree,
to keep her forever happy..

I feel that there must be no restriction on expressing my view on this topic, just because I belong to the opposite gender. If I can desire for a woman to understand me, I can also step ahead and understand a woman.

Submitted for the Stayfree Blog Contest.

I express my gratitude to every fellow blogger who did stand up for such a noble cause. Happy Blogging Mates!!

Seeing Modi Ji

Seeing Vajpayee Ji

Modi Ji's Rally was scheduled to be at National Ground, Bengaluru on 28th April 2013. The same day I had a college trip to Mangalore. We were scheduled to leave at 9 PM and Modi Ji's rally was scheduled at 7 PM. I always wanted to see him once and hear him speak. I had already heard him several times over the National TV channel's but never saw him stand in front of my eyes and deliver his speech. I came to know from several friend's and associate's that he was a very determined orator. If needed, I was also ready to debar myself from the Mangalore trip.

I asked Syamanta, a good friend and a determined BJP youth whether he would accompany me to National Ground's. His answer was very obvious. We reached National Basvanagudi (1 KM from National ground) by 7 PM. The traffic jam from there didn't allow any vehicle to rush in towards National Ground. We left the auto and decided to march till National Ground. We had walked only a minute or two, that we heard his voice. We ran that whole road and saw thousand's of Banglorean's walking eagerly to see the national hero. We reached the ground and managed to stand just in front of his dice. I also had a few college friend's there who were also eager to hear his speech. I was astonished to see so many old men and women in their eighties, who were also there among the crowd to see the national leader. He must have something in his action, which attract's such a huge crowd.

It was a moment of lifetime for me to see him once. He was delivering his speech with full pace. He didn't need to boast anything about himself as the entire country knew what he had done till date and that every promise he makes, won't go in vain. I never saw any man with clarity of thought's. I also attended Vajpayee Ji's speech as a kid. Both men are dynamic and aimed towards society welfare with the clear motto of doing something good for our nation. I was flowed by his word's and motivated too. I never saw anyone more deliberate.

Vajpayee Ji had already attracted me towards BJP. After hearing Modi Ji I was sure, to live with BJP and to follow their call of 'COUNTRY FIRST, PARTY NEXT, SELF LAST'. India has only a handful of good leader's now, Modi Ji being on top of them.

Stop Rape

Scars conceal her beauty,
cursed marks wrap roughly,
ravaged by rude society,
devil's raped her mercilessly..

Innocent Smile

Leaves were on the ground,
colorful butterflies all around,
seven rainbows in the sky,
you singing a sweet lullaby,
lying on my thighs,
you watch Mother Earth as she sighs,
as she blushes with her beauty,
I palpate your face fairly,
as you yawn for a sleep,
I gaze at you with peace,
and you doze off for a sleep,
passing me an innocent smile..

Tribute to Lalaji..

Punjab Kesari LALA LAJPAT RAI Ji

Born: January 28, 1865
Death: November 17, 1928

"The Government which Attack's its own subjects has no claim to be called as a civilized Government. Bear in mind such a Government doesn't survive Long. I declare that the blows stuck at me will be the last nail's in the coffin of British rule in India."
                               - Lala Lajpat Rai

"I always believed that my silence on several topics will be an advantage in the long run"
                               - Lala Lajpat Rai

शहीदों के चिताओं पर जुड़ेंगे  हर बरस  मेले
वतन पर मरनेवालों का येही बाकी निशाँ होगा

I offer my prayer's and tributes to Punjab Kesari Lala Lajpat Rai Ji on his death anniversary.

Today the whole country talks about development and civilization and slogans of 'Garibi Hatao' (गरीबी हटाओ ) by every leader in the center. We have corrupted the beauty and aura of freedom and have also forgotten those thousands of men who died serving Mother India. The other revolutionaries paid their tribute by taking the revenge. The ultimate tribute was paid on 15th August 1947 when the Indian Atmosphere was full with the breeze of freedom.

Have we paid our tribute? Remembering those freedom fighter's on their birth and death day's and decorating  their statue's with beautiful garland's doesn't complete our task. We have a lot more to do. The poor is getting poorer and Swiss bank is being flooded with Indian Money. Thousand's of youth are getting trained by terrorist outfits to stand against the country. Rape and Murder news cover's the first few pages of daily newspaper. We aren't secured in our own country.  Have our leader's sacrificed their lives for this day?

My First Liebster Award..

This is my first Liebster Award, which Sachin has shared with me. Thank you dude, to build me the platform which I hope would let me get in touch with many other blogger's across  the internet.

What is Liebster Award?

The word 'Liebster' is originally a German word which mean's sweetest, kindest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing and welcome. The Liebster Award exists only in the internet and is given to blogger's by fellow blogger mate's. Liebster Award can perhaps be said the Mother of Forward Messages. The choice lies entirely with us to accept it, and continue paying it forward or simply stop the chain (I, personally find it interesting to forward and establish my network with other blogger's). Liebster Award basically help other blogger's to recognize and discover new blogger's and let them know about the blogosphere.

What are the expectation's/rules when someone share's his/her Liebster Award with you?

The person who shares his Liebster Award with you want's you be known by more people in the blogosphere. He/She keeps a few expectation's when he share's this with you-
  • Post 11 fact's about yourself.
  • Answer all the 11 question's the tagger has asked you.
  • Tag 11 more blogger's. While tagging them do remember that they have less than 200 follower's.
  • Ask 11 question's.

Dream of Nirvana..

I dream of a life,
far away from mankind,
isolated in peace,
where civilization doesn't resist happiness,
where hatred doesn't abuse,
peace of heart and serenity,
where human avaritia has limit,
and people build palaces of faith..

In that far away terrain,
peace and love fenced domain,
singing lullaby and humming whistles,
walk among grass and thistles,
In that land of colorful butterflies,
I shall live, make it my paradise,
I shall walk to where I belong,
following the path to my dream of Nirvana..
