Mask

Masks and masks,
Masks everywhere.
With pride they hide,
The tales of glory.
They hide the scars,
Which hold tales of wars.
They hide the tears,
Which the heart broken boy beholds.
The pain of the poor father,
Who couldn’t buy his boy a toy.
The world never saw the pain,
The mask covered the dark night’s rain.

Masks and masks,
Masks everywhere.
They hide the faces,
Which pretends innocence.
The exploiters of beauty,
Who should have been hated,
Are being unconditionally loved,
Thus the mask does its duty.
